Light is always important in a drawing, but this time everything is about light. Different than the other techniques in the painting and erasing technique, it is easier to control the light. With this technique, it is possible to illuminate a dark room for a certain period of time and then darken it again.
Erasing provides great opportunities to create light as part of the technique. However, there is one thing that should not be forgotten, it is not possible to regain the original whiteness of the paper with erasing. Photographing the drawing we produced with the technique at certain time intervals and transforming it into a gif allowed us to observe how the same space gains different illuminations with different lights.
